PTO News for the Week of December 10

Thank you to the families that donated almost $1500 to 2018-2019 teacher grant fundraising.  PTO was able to add $4000 to fully fund all elementary and middle school requests and at least partially fund all high school grants.  Please see our Teacher Grants page for details on which grants were fulfilled.   We appreciate your support of PTO through sales at the Thunder Store and sending in Box Tops for Education. 

The Thunder Store Holiday Open House is this Thursday, December 13. Please try to stop by anytime between 4-9pm. We will have a huge sale table, door prizes, added discounts & yummy refreshments. Credit cards will be accepted along with cash & checks.

Mrs. Studen’s class is the winner of the PTO popcorn party!  Her class turned in 1,401 box tops during the August collection drive.  The DCC PTO would also like to recognize the classes who collected the second and third highest amounts – Mrs. Hart’s class (693 box tops) and Ms. Hill’s class (552 box tops).  The second and third place classes will get a special thank you of Tootsie Roll Pops courtesy of the PTO.   We would also like to give a special shout out to our pre-K students who collected an impressive 318 box tops!  Way to go!  DCC Elementary did an awesome job collecting over 6,600 box tops!  Be sure to keep on clipping and saving your box tops.  We will be having a fall collection drive that will be ending October 15th.  The winning class will get a pizza party courtesy of the PTO!  Keep an eye out for the fall box top collection flyers.  They should be out in the next week or so.  Thanks again to all those who sent in their box tops!  The money that we get for collecting these box tops (10 cents each) really helps support our school!  Go Thunder!

PTO News for the Week of August 13

Welcome Back from your DCC PTO!  We serve all three levels with community events, student encouragement and staff support throughout the year.
This morning, we will be decorating our outdoor spaces with inspirational messages to greet our students.  Chalk will be provided starting at 10am and available all day. Stop by to write a note.
We hope to see you tonight at the PK-8 Open House in the cafetorium.  We will have a registration table to join PTO and visit our Thunder Store tables for fun new spiritwear and gifts.  We accept cash, checks and credit cards through PayForIt.
The Thunder Store and registration will also be available at Freshmen check-in on Tuesday.
Wednesday morning from 9-10:30am, we will host a Welcome Coffee at Shots Coffee, 162 Tracker Dr #100.  Come by for a complimentary cup of coffee and connect with other parents.
