As you know, our meal service was scheduled to end on June 30. We are happy to share that in July, we will continue with limited free meal service at two school sites, Pioneer Elementary School and Timberview Middle School. Starting July 2 and ending on July 30, each Tuesday and Thursday, from 10 – 11:30 a.m., all students can receive grab-and-go meals at Pioneer Elementary and Timberview Middle Schools. Please note that in July, there will not be meal service at any other sites. Please see asd20.org for more information.
Discovery Canyon Campus High School Class of 2020 and Families
The in-person graduation ceremony that will be held on June 23, 2020 at the District 20 Stadium at 9 a.m. We are excited that up to two family members will be able to attend with the graduates (and sit with them on the field). Outside of the two family household members, no other spectators will be permitted to attend the ceremony or remain on District 20 property. The ceremony will be streamed live for all to watch at the link below:
https://www.asd20.org/…/dcchs-in-person-graduation-livestre…
A pre-recorded digital version of the graduation ceremony will also be released at 3 p.m. on June 23rd for family and friends to download as a keepsake. It will not be the same version as the live stream event.
In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be postponed to either June 29th or June 30th. If that is the case, new information will be provided once it is known.

Due to predicted inclement weather, we are canceling tomorrow’s free meal pickup at all six Academy District 20 (ASD20) locations. We are therefore adding meal pickups on Friday, March 20, 2020, from 10 – 11:30 a.m., at all six ASD20 locations. All those who pick up a meal on Friday will receive TWO breakfasts and TWO lunches.
We apologize for this inconvenience, but the safety of our students, staff and partners is paramount. Thank you for your understanding and we will see you on Friday!
Academy District 20 is extending hours and adding dates to its FREE breakfast and lunch “brunch bag,” service for all students 18 years old or younger. Please see below for new and updated details.
Starting tomorrow, March 18, 2020, pick-up times are extended to 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Meals are now available during Spring Break, Monday, March 23 through Thursday, March 26, 2020.
On both Thursday, March 19, and Thursday, March 26, 2020, participants may take two meals, one for Thursday AND one for Friday.
If there is inclement or snowy weather, meal service will continue, unless otherwise notified.
Meals can be obtained at all six original locations. Click here for details: https://www.asd20.org/stories/student-meals-during-closure
There are still two meal pick-up days this week on Wednesday, March 18 and Thursday, March 19.
Visit see asd20.org for additional details and previous communication about this service.
Yesterday we sent the below message regarding free meals for students during next week’s closure. In addition to the Academy District 20 locations listed in that communication, our students, along with all students from across the Pikes Peak Region, may visit any meal pick-up location. This means students do not need to visit district-specific meal pick-up locations, rather they can visit the location that is most convenient for them. The locations are listed in this link: https://tinyurl.com/School-Meals
March 14, 2020 Message about meals
Academy District 20 staff will be providing any student under the age of 18 with a FREE breakfast and lunch “brunch bag” on March 16 – 19, from 10 – 11 a.m.
Any student can receive one grab-and-go brunch bag per day and they do not need to attend the school where the food is picked-up. Also, students do not need to be accompanied by a parent or family member.
Those picking up a brunch bag should visit the most convenient pick-up location listed below. The brunch bag pick-up area at each school will be in either the bus or student drop-off parking lot.
The grab-and-go bags are intended to be taken offsite. The school will not be open for students to enter and there is no outside supervision of students.
